ID Card Design Discreet and functional
The discreet unit is designed to enable the user to raise an alert safely in emergency, without increasing risk to themselves.

Evidence Recording Valuable information
The Identicom unit allows for incidents to be listened to and captured. The incident recording can then be used to authorise action against an aggressor or to support an employee's evidence should an investigation take place. The unit can therefore act as a deterrent to antisocial behaviour.

Location Information Faster response in an emergency
With the help of Identicom, the user can record location information, enabling faster and more effective response in an emergency.

24-Hour Monitoring Function ADT's Alarm Receiving Centre gives peace of mind
The monitoring function offers an advantage over a conventional mobile phone by providing continuous support to the end user. When an alert (red or amber) is sent to the ARC, the ARC operator takes immediate actions according to the alert level. Using dedicated teams and efficient management of workloads, the ARC is able to respond to emergencies effectively at any time of the day or night.

One Button Operation Simple to use under duress
All unit functions can be activated by a single button that is easily accessible in an emergency situation and allows instant communications with the ARC.

GSM Technology Indoor and outdoor applications
Like an ordinary mobile phone, Identicom uses GSM technology. GSM delivers extensive nationwide coverage and enables the unit to function in almost all environments, without having to invest in any bespoke infrastructure.

'Amber Alert' Function Audible recording, quick response
The 'Amber alert' button enables a timed audible recording of useful information, such as user name, destination details and visit timescales, prior to an appointment. Using this information, all incidents can be dealt with fast and effectively.

Timer mechanism to reduce risk of human error
An optional timer function (configurable to suit user's specific needs) can also be activated once the 'Amber Alert' audible recording has finished. Failure to respond to the timer then initiates an escalation of the incident into the 'Red Alert' mode. The ARC can therefore be alerted even in situations where the user is unable to raise the alert themselves.

'Red Alert' Function Efficiency of response
Pressing the 'Red Alert' button raises an instant alert and opens a voice channel to the ARC. The ARC is then able to act fast and efficiently, to provide assistance to the user.

'Heart Beat' function
The unit send a short vibration alert - 'Heart Beat', every few seconds during the red alert status to reassure the user that the voice call to the ARC is active.

Stop and Check function Instant assurance
Using the 'stop and check' button enables the user to test the battery and signal strength prior to attending a potentially hazardous situation, and to verify the ability to raise an alarm.

Open Protocol Not restricted by a network provider
Each unit requires its own GSM SIM card. The Identicom solution is compatible for use with all major network providers, which offers flexibility when assessing network coverage and choosing the best provider. The units SIM card can be changed whenever required - effortlessly without any restrictions.

Lanyard or Lapel Clip User's choice
The unit comes with two attachments - a lanyard and a lapel clip, to fit user's individual preference. A mini lanyard cord that can be used with the lapel clip is optional and offers the 'Lanyard Rip' alarm function.

'Lanyard Rip' Alarm Function Added protection
The unit features a 'Lanyard Rip' alarm function where one end of the lanyard is attached to a plug that sits in the device. If the unit is forcibly removed from the user, the plug detaches and a 'Red Alert' is raised immediately. This function enables a rapid response even when the user is separated from the device, and prevents the possibility of the user being injured by the lanyard.

Lightweight and Robust Ideal for most working environments
The unit is designed to be lightweight and durable - made of tough ABS plastic it weighs only 74 grams - to suit most applications. It accommodates the majority of industry ID cards.

Remote Configuration Easy to reconfigure
If required, the device can be effortlessly reconfigured remotely via 'Short Message' commands. The remote configuration function means that the unit does not need to be withdrawn from the daily operation, saving valuable time and resources.

Call Charges Low ongoing call costs
The network operator call charges to the user's organisation are limited to the cost of calls that are made during the alert status. A risk of misuse and high on-going charges are eliminated.

Accessories, Added Features In-car charges for convenience of use
The Identicom in-car charger option was developed to offer flexibility and convenience for users on the move.

Post sale assurance
ADT supplies a wide range of spare parts and accessories including replacement lanyards, plugs and lapel clips.
