Job DescriptionJob title Business Support Manager Reporting to: Commercial Manager Job summary To provide administrative and financial reporting leadership and responsibility for all transaction processing across relevant operational area. To manage the credit control function. To be responsible for SOx compliance and financial controls. KPIs Internal customer satisfaction level Responsibilities: Finance Manage forecasts through reporting systems to ensure accuracy and clarity Manage credit control function for relevant branches, to ensure efficient cash collection Approve and release job costing amendments, credit notes, installation and progress billing in line with agreed procedures Review the production of financial management information as required. Administration Conduct random but regular spot checks of key processes, administration and customer contact methods to ensure adherence to quality standards and speedy resolution of potential problems. Line management Review branch performance and plan improvements to meet set targets. Review performance of direct reports using Performance Matters Ensure training requirements for credit control and administrative staff are identified and delivered Receive and pass on relevant company communications as required Person Specification Customer focus Effective team-builder Good at setting priorities Attention to detail Drive for results Effective people manager Able to work under pressure Completer/finisher Experience At least 3-5 years admin/finance management experience, ideally in a commercial market. A demonstrable track record of achievement in administration/financial management. Knowledge PC literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products Appropriate finance or business qualifications. |
