Extended Annual Leave
Holiday entitlement is 25 working days in any complete calendar year, in addition to the customary statutory holidays. This is an additional five days more than the minimum requirement stipulated by Working Time Regulations

Company Cars
For some positions within ADT  a company car/vehicle is provided to enable the postholder to carry out their duties more effectively. The type of vehicle supplied depends on the grade of position.

Also, where applicable for the grade is the option to allow employees to Trade Out of the scheme and receive a car allowance instead.

Free Car Parking
Most of ADT's branches have a limited number of free parking spaces available for employee's to take advantage of.

Pension Scheme
To be eligible to participate in the Company Pension Scheme, employees must have completed 6 months employment. The contributions paid by the employee's and ADT is dependent on the employee's age. However, as a member of the scheme individuals can increase contributions through Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs).

For those employee's who are members of the pension scheme a Death in Service Assurance is in operation which is equivalent to 4 x employee's salary, should they die in service.

Health Care
Where applicable for the grade of the position within ADT free Private Health Care membership will be provided for either self only or self and family.

For other employees, an optional voluntary discounted private Healthcare Service is available to all Tyco Group employees. This is a voluntary scheme, and subscriptions will be payable through employee's own bank account.

Share Save Scheme
ADT operate a Share Save Scheme for all group employees'. The scheme is offered on a 3 year, 5 year or 7 year term with a minimum contribution of £10.00 upto a maximum of £250.00 saved per month. At the end of the agreed term, employee's have the option to receive their money back with a tax free bonus or purchase shares at a price agreed at the beginning of the term.

However, the scheme is not guaranteed and Tyco International makes a decision each year whether to invite new members into the scheme.

Learning & Development
We recognise the importance of training and development of their employees and encourage the concept of life long learning.

ADT offers an extensive range of internal courses that can be attended at ADT locations or through e-learning programmes. The Training Academy now offers a personalised training record when you log onto the Training Intranet site. This enables you to view course history, view course requests, register for further courses and much more.

We operate a Tuition Reimbursement Programme, which provides financial assistance to employees to meet tuition and other expenses for further educational programmes. There is a detailed policy, which sets out criteria for eligibility and details of approved courses.

Mobile Phones
Some positions within the company are provided with mobile phones and although they are provided primarily for business use, occasional private use is permissible provided full reimbursement of the relevant call is made.
