MX Technology
The MX Fire System incorporates many new technologies which make it one of the most reliable and fast acting systems available.
The objective of a fire system is simple: detect a fire or fire situation as early as possible and minimise any false or unwanted alarms. A reliable system is a trustworthy system, as building users quickly learn to ignore an alarm once false alarms become a problem
MX has been designed to meet these exacting requirements and uses many unique technologies to achieve the above. With detection devices now using differing technologies to detect the elements of fire such as smoke, heat and CO, each and every risk can be covered.
With MX detection incorporating technology such as “Fuzzy Logic” which uses historical data (algorithms) to check any fire detected before going into alarm, consequently minimising the risk of false alarms, you can be sure that false alarm resilience is maximised.
The speed of detection and passing of information across an MX system is achieved by using a vastly superior “digital addressable protocol” which is not just fast, but extremely robust.
With a dedicated Research and Development team constantly evaluating and updating technology, across what is an integrated system, you can be sure that MX is protecting life and property effectively 27/7.
With new standards such as BS7273-4 being published around the control of doors in emergency exits and routes, it is important that building owners can comply, and with MX we have a solution, the TSM800, a device which meets the standard, ensuring compliance.
Some risks, such as gas detection in boiler rooms can now be incorporated into the main MX system using a dedicated interface, when traditionally these were standalone systems.
Best of all is the user friendliness of the MX, an uncomplicated interface with easy to understand menus ensure the panel and system are simple to use without compromising on the powerful features. All maintenance and service tasks can be carried at the panel using these menus, as can changes to the way the system works.
ADT provide an interactive CD ROM to allow users to explore some of these features and technology, as well as familiarising themselves with the system. |
