ADT’s steps to a greener future
committed to environmental best practices and sustainability

As the UK’s leading provider of fire and security solutions, we recognise that the efforts we make in reducing our impact on the environment today will have far reaching consequences for future generations. That’s why we have committed to being an environmentally responsible organisation and developed specific goals to reduce our impact on the environment by 2015.
As a business we advocate regulatory standards and have an official Environmental Policy. In addition to being compliant to the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme and the WEEE Directive, we were the first NSI (National Security Inspectorate) NACOSS Gold Company in the UK to be certified by the NSI with the internationally recognised ISO 14001 Environmental Management System standard.
In 2010, ADT’s parent company, Tyco International Ltd, launched the environmental and sustainability programme, Vital World. This programme reaches 100,000 employees worldwide and has set targets even higher than many UK public sector commitments.
