When developing new products and services, we aim to use a sustainable approach and assess the potential environmental impact.
In order to reduce the effect on the environment and increase our contribution to sustainable procurement, our aim is to recover and recycle:
- Precious metals
- Minerals
- Electronic components
- Repairable parts
When upgraded systems are launched, we recover old system parts for reuse or recycling. For example, for the upgrade of ADT’s Minerva® fire detection system to ADT’s digital MZX fire detection system, we are recovering parts for reuse and recycling.
Similar sustainability programmes will be implemented where practical for other products nearing the end of their lifecycle.
