Vital World

ADT UK & Ireland’s parent company, Tyco International Ltd, is a diversified, global company that provides fire and security products and services, valves and controls, and other industrial products to customers in more than 60 countries.

In 2010, Tyco launched the environmental and sustainability programme, Vital World. This programme reaches over 100,000 employees worldwide.

Globally, the company has set targets even higher than many UK public sector commitments.

When compared to our 2009 baseline resource year, Tyco has committed to a 25% reduction by 2015 in:

• Greenhouse gas emissions
• Water consumption
• Waste generation

In addition, Tyco has set the goal of reaching 75% landfill avoidance by the end of 2012.
