Mountain sports retailer Ellis Brigham recently called upon ADT Fire and Security to provide a fully integrated fire and security system, incorporating a CCTV system, new emergency lighting and Sensormatic anti-theft pedestals for four new stores - including a new flagship store in the Westfield Shopping Centre in West London. 
 
Robert Brigham, Assistant Director for Ellis Brigham, commented: “When we were planning our four new sites, ADT was the obvious choice. With a site as big as our Westfield store where heavy traffic is expected, we needed a fire detection and warning system that would guarantee a quick evacuation and ensure the ultimate safety of our staff and customers in the event of an emergency.”  
 
The new fire detection and warning system at the Ellis Brigham store uses ADT Fire & Security’s latest digital MX Technology. The new digital systems offer a superior robustness and reliability and can support a higher number of devices on one detection loop than older analogue systems, giving increased flexibility.  
 
The Westfield store was also fitted with Sensormatic pedestals that offer superb detection against shoplifters. The discrete system blends in with the interior of the store making it easier to help eliminate possible theft and detect when a tagged item is removed from the store.
