New Solutions for Fire ProtectionADT was awarded a 10 year contract for maintenance of the fire detection system by Haden Building Management as part of the PFI funded development for Durham Hospital. As an approved fire and security maintenance company, we regularly maintain the fire detection and protection equipment to ensure all-round safety. Prior to receiving the maintenance contract, Haden Young awarded ADT a contract to install a fire system for the major PFI funded project. The system was installed at the new 450-bed hospital and comprised ADT's own Minerva MX addressable fire detection system with 15 networked panels, air sampling and an extinguishing system. All products were installed to meet the EN54 standard in fire safety. An analogue addressable system was chosen for its prompt response to alarm activation and the level of service and maintenance required.
