3. Macro Tracking Location (approximate location - within 1 GSM 'cell')When the unit's status changes to the alarm mode, it sends a signal to the nearest GSM transmitter. Once the approximate location is defined, the asset recovery is arranged. ADT ARC receives information via GSM modem about the macro location of the unit. This location determines the search area - specially trained Finder Operatives are dispatched to the identified area to locate the asset. 4. Micro Tracking Location (accurate location - to within 1 metre)Using specialist RF Direction Finder, the finder operatives identify the asset's precise location. 5. Asset RecoveryThe ADT ARC team contact the client and agree on the asset recovery. If required the police will be called to recover the stolen asset if it is located on private property. |
