Value Added Services
Many of our customers have increased their protection by linking their alarm systems to our 24-hour Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), enabling a rapid response from the emergency services in the event of fire or criminal attack. Having a monitored alarm system also allows customers to make use of several value added services for their system.
Virtual Centre
Our 24 hour Alarm Receiving Centre is one of the most advanced in the world and is fully compliant with the British Standard for High Security Signalling. It is a fully backed up service designed to provide a rapid response from the emergency services in the event of fire or criminal attack.
Remote Reset
Remote Reset is a facility for resetting intruder alarms by telephone after an activation. Remote reset can save the time and expense of calling out an engineer, which is the alternative requirements of police policy.
RESOLVE
Our intruder systems can now be provided with Remote Engineering Support - RESOLVE. It uses an interactive telephone link between alarm control panels and our 24-hour RESOLVE help desk. More than 85% of calls to the RESOLVE team are dealt with by telephone, removing the need for customers to wait for an engineer. If a personal visit is needed, the RESOLVE team can often save time and expense by pinpointing the fault before the engineer arrives.
Security Information Database
Organisations with multiple sites can subscribe to our Security Information Database (SID) programme for Windows 95 and 98. SID provides a complete daily download of information relating to the operation and servicing records of all the customer's alarm systems.
