Safe working environment - a legal requirement

Lone workers generally face greater security risks than other workers, especially in the case of accidents or violence. Employers have the same legal responsibility to lone workers as they do to the office based staff - to provide a safe working environment. Similarly, self-employed lone workers have a duty to protect their own health and safety.

ADT's lone worker protection solution offers total peace of mind to the employer by providing a more secure working environment whilst safeguarding staff within operational and legal necessity.

Identicom - Simple and effective protection

The Identicom lone worker protection system features an alarm unit disguised as an ID card holder. Its understated design and simple functionality enables the user to raise an alarm in an emergency discreetly, without worsening a potentially dangerous situation.

How does it work?

The unit is operated with three simple buttons that give the options of raising alarm, recording information and performing an operational check of the unit and GSM network coverage.

The unit can communicate with a customer's call centre or the ADT Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) through a voice call and optional text messages; safeguarding the user 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
