With passenger safety a priority and concerns ranging from vandalism and theft to fire and emergency evacuation, rail companies have very particular fire and security requirements.

ADT has considerable experience in the rail industry, with a portfolio of projects on both mainline railways and underground. We provide a broad range of integrated security solutions for train, station, shop, office, passenger and cargo operations.

Our product range encompasses CCTV, fire systems, PA/VA , intruder alarms and access control as well as products more specific to the rail sector, including track to train cameras, help points and fibre optic transition networks. All of these products can be installed independently or integrated and networked together.

We are an accredited Link-up Scheme Supplier and fully conversant with the British Standard regulations for design of fire and security systems. All of our engineering staff and project managers hold the appropriate health and safety certification, to comply with specific railway requirements - be that London Underground’s Secondary Licensing Procedure or Railtrack’s Personal Track Safety. We maintain control over the installation of all our systems, to ensure quality and on-time completion.
