The ADT Engineering Team The engineering team is a vital part of our business. It is separated in to two divisions Installation and Service. The Installation team installs fire and security systems to new and existing customers. The Service team carries out routine maintenance and repair on existing systems.
The Service Engineering Team Do you enjoy the challenge of fixing any faults in a system? Being a member of the Service Engineering team is a challenging role that involves using your problem solving skills and system knowledge to ensure that a customers fire and security system is working to its highest capability.
Intruder/CCTV/Access Service Department A career in Service will include routine inspection of all types of systems from a simple intruder system to the most comprehensive and complex systems in buildings like schools and hospitals, as well as repairing and ensuring the continuous working of the system. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work in diverse environments and possess exceptional communication and customer care qualities.
Service Engineer With your knowledge of security systems including CCTV, Access and Intruder Alarms, you will bring with you a proven field service background. Full training and guidance will be available to help you succeed in this role.
Service Field Line Managers As a Service Field Line Manager you will possess all the key skills of a Service Engineer, as well as excellent organisational and team building skills including:
- Monitoring of the teams performance
- Ensuring safe working practices within the team
- Dealing with customer and credit control queries
- Identifying training needs
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem analysis
Service Manager You will have an expert knowledge in servicing major fire and security installations. You will provide leadership and direction to the Service Field Line Managers and will possess excellent problem analysis, organisational and team building skills. You will ensure that the service maintenance of our customers systems is completed to the highest standard.
RESOLVE Remote Engineering Support On-Line Virtual Engineer (RESOLVE)
A team of technicians working out of our Manchester offices offer technical support over the telephone to our customers. Engineers are able to dial into the customers alarm panel over the telephone line and diagnose faults. Many calls passed to Resolve are fixed without the need to send an engineer out to the customer.
We are seeking experienced engineers to commission and install Intruder, Access, CCTV & Fire systems nationwide. You should have electrical installation experience, preferably dealing with fire and security systems, and have a strong desire to join the best in the business.
