  ADT’s commitment to helping secure the life of our customers is equalled by our commitment to being an environmentally responsible organisation. At ADT we are committed to specific goals that will reduce our impact on the environment by 2015.

• Waste Management Program

  ADT UK and Ireland resolved to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill and, along with the WEEE Directive and Battery and Accumulator Directive, we achieved a great reduction in this field. In 2009

  23 tonnes of our confidential waste was securely disposed of and recycled
  46% of our total waste (excluding WEEE) was recycled
  100% of cardboard collected by ADT UK and Ireland was processed and recycled

  When developing new products and services, we aim to use a sustainable approach and assess the potential environmental impact. In order to increase our contribution to sustainable procurement our aim is to recover and recycle:
