Keyholder Response

When you choose this package we’ll ask you to nominate a number of keyholders - ideally colleagues who live nearby. If your alarm is triggered, first we’ll rule out a false alarm. Then we’ll call you and your keyholders. We’ll help you train them on best practice for responding to an alarm but essentially they’ll check the exterior of the premises and call the police if anything is amiss. If there are no signs of a break-in they’ll enter the building and reset the alarm.

Police Response

As well as notifying your keyholders we’ll also contact the police, giving you added reassurance of involving the authorities in the response to your alarm. Keyholders should give the police access to the building if required, as well as calling ADT to reset the alarm before they enter. On top of that, the introduction of the ECHO connected transfer alarm service is designed to improve police response time when an ADT alarm is triggered.

Private Security Response

For added peace of mind, we’ll notify you of the alarm and immediately send an accredited security professional to your premises. There are two levels of cover to choose from. With our External Check service a security guard will conduct a thorough examination outside your premises. While our Keyholder offering means they’ll enter the building and check inside too. Perfect if you’re not comfortable sending employee keyholders to an alarm in the middle of the night.
